Dr. Peter Bujari - Executive Director

Result driven and objective person, hard working with result based management style. Dr. Bujari has ten years of experience in management position and acquired expert in policy analysis and advocacy, project design, monitoring and evaluation. He also has outstanding skills in organizational management and change management. Graduated from University of Dar ES Salaam as Medical doctor, he also has Masters in Business Administration of Blekinge Institute of Technology.  Dr. Bujari is a national and international outspoken advocate for both national and international issues; see more at(www.youtube.com/watch?v=48Ip3bTtWMQ).  Dr. Bujari has successfully transformed and managed a local Organization (www.hdt.or.tz) into a reputable organization in the country. As a founder of Tanzania AIDS Forum a national network for HIV and health ( www.tzaidsforum.or.tz), he has also lead the active engagement of Civil Society representatives in Tanzania National Coordinating Mechanism (TNCM) with aim of improving the efficiency of this important forum.


Dr. Peter Bujari

Mr. John Simon Malanilo - Director of Programs

Teacher by profession with a Bachelor in Business Administration. He has excellent facilitation and project management skills. He has over ten years of work experience in the CSO sector on the management level and has experience in working with children living in difficult circumstances where his job included counselling, self esteem support and family reunification. He has attended various Courses on Project Planning, Management, and advocacy and as trainer of trainers for HIV and AIDS education and life skills.

Mr. Geofrey Isack - Director of Finance and Administration

Professional Accountant at CPA Final stage. He has a great deal of skills and experience working with Private Sector, Government Parastatals and Non Governmental organizations in areas of Financial Accounting and Reporting; Competency Based Institutional Capacity Assessment, Training, Coaching and mentoring; Grants management; Human resource management and administration. He is currently responsible for overall financial management (planning, budgeting, accounting and reporting) and human resources management and administration of the organization

Mrs Annamarie W. Mpanda- Monitoring & Evaluation Manager

Annamarie is a qualified Monitoring and Evaluation practitioner for over five years. She has an experience working with NGO sector in collaboration with the same, local government authorities and development partners in organizational development and management; project design, management, monitoring, evaluation and reporting; Institutional capacity assessment; Resource mobilization and fundraising skills; policy development, lobbying and advocacy; Pre-award assessment/Due diligence; Capacity building, mentoring and coaching. Annamarie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics and Human Nutrition, and Diploma in Clinical Medicine.


Annamarie

Mr. David Bukozo – Regional Program Manager Kagera

Agriculturist by professional with a diploma in crop production. He has experience in working with the community, for five years in government and more than ten years with NGOs in the field of agriculture, people living in hard circumstances and in other community development issues. He has attended various courses and seminars in participatory planning, business management for intermediary NGO Managers, HIV/AIDS intervention, counseling, good governance skills and capacity building for CSOs and Resource mobilization. He is pursuing a BBA (in specialization of HRM) at the Open University of Tanzania. He has been working with HDT since 2007 to date; 2007 to 2008 as Regional Program Assistant, 2009 to 2010 as Regional program officer and currently he is a Regional Program Manager Kagera.


Mr. James Mlali – Senior Policy Advocacy Officer

Driven by the passion for social change, James Mlali has worked with communities in Tanzania, Kenya, the USA and Finland in starting, revitalizing, strengthening and expanding community-driven and owned programs that ensure lasting impact in the lives of persons individually and communities collectively. At HDT, James integrates the previous training and experience for the purpose of advocating for lasting social change underpinned by solid, community-centered policies. James is a Pastor and has been a Bible College Instructor, Administrator, University Lecturer and Researcher in Policy, Poverty, HIV and AIDS and Education as well as Consulting in Policy Analysis and Advocacy. James holds an FTC in Civil Engineering, a BA (High Honors) in Bible and Theology, has attended Graduate Studies in Leadership and Management Non Profit Organizations and Counseling, International Cooperation and Development, and has an MA in Development Studies.

Ms. Jaliath Rangi – Program Officer Capacity Building

Graduated in 2007, at the University of Dar es salaam, specializing in LANGUAGE STUDIES and LINGUISTICS. She has experience on rural HIV/AIDS Initiatives, project planning, organizing and facilitation and she is an expert on capacity building. She previously worked as a volunteer in the Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiatives, as a Community HIV/AIDS Fellow in Mtwara Rural. She worked with Home Based Care, giving technical and day to day support for People living with HIV/AIDS

Rev. Canon Fareth S.N. Sendegeya - Regional Programme Officer Kagera

Theology Lecturer since 1985. Corresponding Secretary for ANITEPAM for five years, fully engaged in the administration of the organization. Holds a Bachelor of Theology, Bachelor of Divinity and Masters in Theology from Serampore University in Calcutta (India). He has done ecumenical relations studies at Bossey Ecumenical Institute in Geneva. A Pastor at heart with concern for holistic human deliverance.  Known for crisis and trauma counseling, educational psychology and social anthropology. Started work with Miners at Mwadui Diamonds Ltd. And has worked with Development and HIV /AIDS programs in the Diocese of Kagera. Author of two Swahili commentaries on 1 Corinthians and Johannine Epistles. Third Commentary on James is with Central Tanganyika Press.


Rev. Fareth Sendegeya

Ms Riziki Benjamin– Regional Programme Officer Ruvuma

Sociologist by professional, graduated from the University of Dar es Salaam. I have experience in HIV/AIDS, Reproductive Health, working with People Living with HIV/AIDS and difficult circumstances, Project facilitation and supporting and working with communities on cross cutting issues. I also worked with Rungwe District Council as a Community development officer during my practical training.  Also have leadership experience. I joined HDT in October 2010, to work as a Regional Programme officer in Mbeya Region.

Ms. Agnes Kisala – Finance  Officer

Graduated from the Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial Academy in Dar es Salaam with an Ordinary Diploma in gender issues in development. Her skills are mainly on finance, administration issues, computer and gender issues in development.


Ms. Regina Joseph - Administative Officer

Regina is a graduate of B.A in Culture and Heritage from the University of Dar es salaam. She is well equipped with administration skills, human resource management, sales and documentation in Logistics, clearing and forwarding.  She has successful acquired knowledge and experience on training and facilitation for domestic violence and sexual assault to local communities, skilled in data entry and management in the system of National Data Management System (DMS).

Graduated from the college of Business Education (CBE) Dodoma with an Ordinary Diploma in Accountancy and Certificate of Business Administration. My skills are mainly on Finance and Administration,since June 2011 to date

Ms. Upendo E Kachenje - Program Officer Mtwara

Upendo is a qualified Community Development professional in Management of Community Development Programs from CDTI - Tengeru in 2010. She has an experience working with local community groups on capacity building in marketing for handcraft materials. She has been working with HDT since August as volunteer on community projects supporting Most Vulnerable Children and their caring families at Kijitonyama ward in Kinondoni Municipal Dar es Salaam. Currently she is a Regional Program Officer-Mtwara region.

Experienced driver and has worked with several private organizations before joining HDT. Since April 2007 he is employed by HDT as a driver.

Secondary school certificate, Computer skills certificate of competence, Driving college certificate and driving licence.I have over six years of working Experience as a driver and other assigned works in NGO like, REDESO under UNHCR, And REDESO under CONCERN WORLD WIDE Before joined into HDT Organization.

From 2009-2011 I worked with Children and Youth Development Organization (CYODO) as FMP program manager. Currently, I have been working with HDT since November 2011 as a field worker volunteer at Mtwara Regional Office.

Worked  at Children and Youth Development (CYODO) as a field worker in Families Matter! Program (FMP). Currently, I have been working with HDT since November 2011 as a field worker volunteer on FMP project at Mtwara Regional Office

Mr. Mashenene Shadrack Mashenene - Field Worker

Completed Advanced Secondary Education , have experienced working with youth,  parents/guardians since 2010 in Children and Youth Development Organization (CYODO) to  the project of  (YDP) Youth Development Project as field officer in Mtwara region. I joined Human Development Trust (HDT) as volunteer in 2011, working in Ruvuma region as field worker for Families Matter Project (FMP) to date.
